About Us

Wing Pet Food, formerly known as Wing Biotech Co., Ltd., was established in 2007 and officially joined Symrise Group in 2022. As an R&D-oriented company, it focused on developing and providing pet food palatability solutions as the initial core business.

The company has two business units, focusing on pet food palatability and health & nutrition. Whilst gaining a firm foothold in the Chinese market, Wing Pet Food set up an overseas development department to serve overseas customers from Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East.

With continuous investment in research and development and constant improvement of supply chain capabilities and expertise, Wing Pet Food is committed to becoming a globally renowned pet food ingredient supplier and solution provider. We endeavor to make the lives of pets better.

Expert Panel

In 2017, Wing Pet Food established its own pet food palatability & functional expert panel according to the standards of globally-recognized expert panels. The panel covering a total area of 2,200 square meters has more than 300 pet dogs and cats, and are being managed by a mature and specialized team.

R&D center

The company has an R&D team led by overseas returning expert and mainly composed of PhDs and MAs. Behind each product launch, there are dozens or even hundreds of eliminated formulas and hundreds of experiments. In order to achieve excellence and advantage in palatability and cost-effectiveness, Wing Pet Food is committed with solid R&D investment and performs a large number of experiments.

Quality Assurance Center

The dosage of palatability enhancers, antioxidants and other ingredients in commercial pet food is not very high. However, they play very important role. According to statistics, if one ton of palatability enhancer has quality issue, dozens of tons of finished pet food products and hundreds of thousands of pets and pet families will be affected. This shows how important it is for the pet food industry to ensure the safety of pet food palatability enhancers. Wing Pet Food is doing a lot of work in supply chain management, production process, quality and risk control to ensure the stability, consistency and safety of products.
